  • Carry out routine flock inspections and identify and respond to any health or welfare concerns
  • Maintain accurate farm records, paperwork and production information
  • Maintain high standards of biosecurity and comply with relevant poultry welfare and assurance standards
  • Coordinate daily farm activities and ensure work is completed efficiently
  • Liaise with senior management, veterinary teams and other relevant personnel where required
  • Assist with bird movements, turnaround and preparation of poultry houses between crops
  • Support general farm and estate duties when management cover is not required
  • Carry out practical tasks including painting, grass cutting, basic maintenance and general site upkeep

The Company:

  • Practical, flexible and hands-on approach to work
  • Good communication, organisation and time management skills
  • Able to work independently and travel between multiple farm locations across Essex
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Poultry Production preferred, although experienced candidates without the qualification will be considered
