We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Lead – EMEA to join a leading international food manufacturing organisation. This is a key strategic role responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and wellbeing across multiple manufacturing, distribution and commercial sites throughout the EMEA region. You will lead on the development, implementation and continuous improvement of safety culture, systems and compliance, supporting operational teams to deliver excellence across a complex and dynamic business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the health, safety and wellbeing agenda across multiple international sites within EMEA
- Provide expert advice, guidance and leadership on HSE matters to site and regional teams
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate safety standards across all regions
- Conduct regular audits, site visits and risk assessments, identifying improvement opportunities
- Deliver training, coaching and mentoring to enhance safety awareness and performance
- Lead investigations, implement corrective actions and share best practice globally
- Develop data‑led reporting and KPI monitoring to support continuous improvement.

The Candidate:
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) essential; membership of IOSH desirable
- Proven experience in a multi‑site or international Health & Safety leadership role
- Strong background in the food manufacturing, FMCG or related sector
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, able to operate at all organisational levels
- Strategic mindset with a practical, hands‑on approach to site engagement
- Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30–50% of the time across EMEA
The Package:
- Salary £75,000 – £85,000 basic salary DOE + profit share bonus of £15,000
