Dairy Farm Manager Dairy Farm Manager – 6-Month Contract – Northern Ireland + Accommodation An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced and hands-on Dairy Farm Manager to join a forward-thinking dairy farm in Northern Ireland on a 6-month contract, commencing mid-June. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full day-to-day running of the dairy unit, which includes a 190-cow herd milked through a modern Dairymaster point swingover parlour. This is a fantastic short-term opportunity for someone confident in managing all aspects of dairy farming, with a focus on herd health, grassland management, and the efficient use of farm equipment. The Role: Overseeing the day-to-day dairy operations Milking a 190-cow herd using a Dairymaster point swingover parlour Feeding, nutrition, and general herd health Animal husbandry and maintaining high welfare standards Grassland management and rotation planning Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment Daily maintenance and repair tasks Taking full responsibility for daily decision-making on farm activities The Candidate: Previous experience managing or working in a senior role on a dairy farm Confident with all aspects of dairy herd management Skilled in milking systems and machinery operation Strong understanding of animal nutrition and welfare Able to work independently and take full responsibility for farm operations Experience with Dairymaster systems is advantageous The Package: – 6-month contract position – Accommodation and food provided – Competitive salary, depending on experience – Opportunity to manage a modern and well-equipped dairy farm Please email your CV to Grace Hartwell, Senior Delivery Recruitment Consultant, GHartwell@agriRS.co.uk . #J-18808-Ljbffr
