An opportunity has arisen to join a progressive, family run dairy farm operating modern Lely robotic milking systems. With 450 cows and around 150 milked per day through automation, this role provides a brilliant environment for someone who is passionate about dairy farming and wants to grow, learn and develop in a supportive setting. You will play an active part in the daily running of the farm – working closely with livestock, supporting herd health and welfare, and learning new skills in robotic and precision dairy technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily livestock care and welfare
- Supporting robotic milking operations and alert responses
- Feeding, bedding and scraping
- Work and general yard duties
- Assisting with health checks and record-keeping
- Working proactively as part of a small team
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and farm presentation
The Candidate:
- A genuine passion for farming and cattle
- Ideally some dairy / milking experience (robots or parlour)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new technology
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
The Package:
- Salary £12.21 per hour
