This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established calf and calving team, taking responsibility for the daily care and management of youngstock within a progressive dairy operation. Working to high welfare standards, you'll be involved in all aspects of calf rearing and calving, ensuring stock receive the very best start. This is a hands‑on role that would suit someone who is passionate about livestock, takes pride in excellent stockmanship and enjoys working as part of a close‑knit team.

The Candidate
- Previous experience rearing calves and working with calving cows
- Excellent stockmanship and attention to animal welfare
- Ability to follow established herd management protocols
- Good communication skills
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Experience working within a commercial dairy enterprise
- Knowledge of calf health, nutrition, and disease prevention
- Experience identifying and managing calving issues
The Package
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Hours
- 53 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- One weekend in every three on a rota basis
Candidate Requirements
All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
