Overview
We are recruiting a Bedding & Feeding Sales Specialist for a leading agricultural machinery business.
The role covers Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland and involves developing market opportunities, supporting customers, increasing product awareness and delivering sales performance across a specialist range of bedding and feeding equipment.
The field‑based position combines technical agricultural machinery knowledge with relationship‑led sales, offering customer interaction, dealer engagement and opportunities to influence business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with an established dealer network
- Work with dealers to create and implement annual sales and marketing plans
- Drive sales performance and achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Support dealers with customer visits, machinery demonstrations and sales opportunities
- Deliver product training and technical updates to dealers and customers
- Monitor market activity, competitor developments and industry trends
- Maintain accurate customer and dealer records through CRM systems
- Assist with promotional campaigns, finance packages and incentive programmes
- Represent the business at agricultural shows, exhibitions, dealer open days and demonstration events
- Produce regular activity reports and follow‑up plans
- Continuously develop product and industry knowledge through ongoing training

- The Candidate
- Proven experience within the agricultural machinery sector
- Experience working for a machinery manufacturer, distributor or dealership network
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of achieving sales targets
- Practical knowledge of modern agricultural machinery and its operation
- Excellent communication, relationship‑building and customer service skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate and engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong IT skills, including CRM systems and digital sales tools
- Self‑motivated, organised and capable of managing a large territory effectively
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within, or willing to relocate to, Scotland or Northern England
