The Job Role: In the role of Technical Sales Manager, you will support customers within your region by offering specialist advice and bespoke solutions designed to optimise performance and deliver measurable results.
Location: Midlands - Home based with travel to customers covering the Midlands area.
Salary Package: Circa ÂŁ40,000 Basic Salary (Negotiable depending on skills and experience) + Uncapped Commission + Company Vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with customers, establishing trust and long-term engagement.
- Work in partnership with clients and customers to understand their specific requirements, proactively identifying challenges and developing tailored, customised solutions.
- Deliver expert technical support and advice, to address issues and recommend best practices for sustainable turf management.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions and customer open days, showcasing expertise and strengthening brand presence within the sector.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external industry partners to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and successful outcomes.
Candidate Requirements:
- Background in technical sales.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage workload effectively.
- Strong understanding of turf management techniques and current industry best practice.
- Confident communicator with strong commercial acumen.
- Selfâmotivated and disciplined in approach.
- Demonstrates a strong sense of professionalism and commitment to high standards.
- Capable of working autonomously while effectively managing a designated territory.
- Holds a full, clean UK driving licence and is prepared to travel as required.
Desirable Qualifications:
- It would be desirable for you to have any of the following qualifications and certifications; BASIS, FACTS, NVQ, HNC, or equivalent certifications.
- If you have an existing customer network within the industry this would be beneficial.
- Proven success and a track record in sales and account development within the industry.
