About the Role

I'm currently working with an established and highly regarded multidisciplinary property consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced MRICS Rural Surveyor to join its rural team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded rural professional looking for a varied workload, strong client exposure and genuine long-term career development.

Working alongside experienced surveyors, planners and property professionals, you'll advise a diverse portfolio of farms, estates and rural landholdings.

?? Newcastle / Barnard Castle / surrounding areas

The role will include

  • Estate management, landlord & tenant and valuations
  • Rural property sales, acquisitions and agency
  • Compensation and Compulsory Purchase
  • Farm business planning and diversification
  • Client management, business development and winning new instructions
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members

The ideal candidate

?? MRICS qualified

?? Excellent agricultural knowledge
?? Commercially aware with strong client-facing skills
?? Confident negotiator and communicator
?? Ambitious and keen to progress
