The Company
A well‑established independent agronomy and agricultural services company serving farmers and growers across the South West of England. They began trading in agricultural seed and crop protection and have grown into a family‑run specialist supplier of agronomy services and agricultural products.
The Role
- Manage your own patch across the Taunton and Exeter areas, building long-term relationships with farmers and growers.
- Drive seed sales and advise on a wide range of farming inputs, including arable and forage seeds, grass and clover seed, fertiliser, maize seed, silage additives, and lime.
- Deliver expert agronomic advice, including soil sampling, nutrient planning, crop management, and bespoke seed mixtures.
- Support farmers with sustainable, profitable, and technically sound solutions for both crops and livestock.
- Work closely with a team of BASIS and FACTS qualified agronomists, sharing best practices and leveraging industry expertise.
Location: South West of England
Salary: £50,000 basic (dependent on skills and experience) plus company car/pension and profit shares.

- A strong practical and technical background in agronomy, with experience across arable, grassland, forage, and crops.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a genuine interest in supporting farmers' success.
- BASIS or FACTS qualifications.
- A proactive, solution-focused approach, with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
