We are currently looking for experienced, passionate, and dedicated Rural Surveyors to join a fantastic established business. In this role you will be supporting and advising a variety of clients in the rural, agricultural, residential, and mixed-use sectors, where you will deliver Red Book valuation, landlord and tenant work, access and rights advice, and wider rural consultancy.
We are looking for experienced rural surveying candidates with a strong technical ability, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. If you also have the confidence to deliver strategic advice and grow new business opportunities, we would love to speak with you. In this role, you will be involved with existing clients in estate management, as well as a considerable amount of new valuation and consultancy instructions across your area.
Location: Various positions available across the UK.
Salary Package: Up to £60,000 Basic Salary Maximum Depending on Skills and Experience + Car Allowance + Benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Red Book valuation for a wide range of rural assets.
- Advising private clients on access and rights matters.
- Strategic advice to agricultural landlords and tenants.
- Collaboration with agency, research and specialist teams.
- Working with the team to identify and secure new business.
- Applying tax principles in valuation and consultancy.
- Preparing high-quality written reports.
- Supporting a collaborative team culture.
Candidate Requirements:
- MRICS qualified.
- RICS registered valuer.
- Excellent numerate, analytical and technical skills.
- Ability to produce high quality written reports, including Red Book valuations.
- Ability to manage your own workload and time to meet deadlines.
- Have an eagerness to experiment, push boundaries of what is possible and deliver efficiency in addition to effectiveness.
