Build partnerships that make a difference. Are you an experienced partnerships, account management or business development professional looking for your next opportunity within the pet and equine insurance market? This could be an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing organisation where partnerships are central to commercial success.

We’re looking for a confident, commercially minded Partnership Manager who enjoys building genuine relationships, spotting opportunities and turning them into sustainable commercial growth. This is a role with plenty of variety and ownership. You’ll work with a range of external partners while collaborating closely with internal teams to develop existing relationships, identify new opportunities and deliver strong commercial results.

What you'll be doing:

  • You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of strategic partnerships, developing relationships and looking for ways to increase their value over the long term.
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with existing partners.
  • Identifying, developing and converting new partnership opportunities.
  • Creating partnership plans aligned to commercial and customer objectives.
  • Managing partnerships from initial discussions through implementation and ongoing development.
  • Working closely with marketing, product, sales, operations and customer teams to deliver partnership activity.
  • Reviewing performance, KPIs and commercial results and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing proposals, presentations and commercial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting commercial negotiations and partnership agreements.
  • Acting as the key relationship contact for partners and ensuring a consistently high level of engagement.
  • Keeping abreast of trends and opportunities across the pet, equine, veterinary and insurance markets.
  • Representing the business at appropriate industry meetings, events and networking opportunities.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience managing and developing commercial relationships.
  • A strong track record of identifying opportunities and delivering against commercial objectives.
  • Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • The confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • A proactive and entrepreneurial approach to partnership development.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence working with data, KPIs and commercial performance information.
  • A genuine interest in developing long-term relationships rather than simply managing accounts.
  • Experience within pet insurance, equine insurance, general insurance, financial services, veterinary services or another related sector would be advantageous, but isn't essential.

Why consider this opportunity?

This is a chance to join a business where you can have a genuine impact on the development of its partnership strategy. You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Take ownership of meaningful commercial relationships.
  • Develop new partnerships and routes to market.
  • Work across a specialist and engaging sector.
  • Have visibility across a range of internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop your commercial and strategic partnership experience.
  • Work with a degree of autonomy while being part of a collaborative team.
  • Build your career within the growing pet and equine insurance market.

The package: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, alongside a competitive benefits package and flexible UK-based working arrangements.

If you're a relationship-led commercial professional who knows how to build partnerships, uncover opportunities and turn relationships into results, we'd love to hear from you.
