With an expanding international dealer network and continued investment in product innovation, the business is experiencing exceptional growth and is now seeking an Agricultural Aftersales Technician to strengthen its technical support team.
The Job Role Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Agricultural Aftersales Technician to provide technical support across the UK and international dealer network. Working closely with dealers, distributors, engineers and customers, you will commission machinery, diagnose technical issues, deliver product training and provide first-class aftersales support. This is a varied field-based role combining customer support, technical problem solving, product validation and dealer development. You will also play an important role in providing valuable field feedback to assist with future product improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission and set up agricultural machinery throughout the UK and internationally
- Diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults both remotely and on-site
- Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Carry out Product Verification and Validation (PV&V)
- Deliver technical product training
- Support warranty investigations and claims
- Build strong relationships with dealers and customers
- Record field issues and product feedback
- Work closely with engineering and production teams
- Represent the business professionally
Essential Candidate Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as an Agricultural Machinery Technician, Field Service Engineer or similar
- Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery, hydraulics and electrical systems
- Ability to interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Practical problem-solving approach
- Good IT, maths and English skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout the UK and internationally
- Fluent English
Desirable:
- Experience carrying out Product Verification & Validation (PV&V)
- Experience delivering technical training
- Previous experience supporting agricultural machinery dealer networks
- Knowledge of regenerative farming equipment and modern agricultural technology
Working Hours: This is a full-time, hybrid field-based position. Regular travel throughout the UK and internationally will be required.
