The Job Role: Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Agricultural Technician to join their team in Central England / Midlands. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting farming clients through regular farm visits, technical calls, troubleshooting, and training. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working independently and can provide expert guidance to farmers. Location: Central England / Midlands Based with travel Salary: £54,000 per year basic salary + travel expenses and mileage paid (you will be required to use your own vehicle for this position). Key Responsibilities as an Agricultural Technician: Conduct regular farm visits to assess operations and provide technical support. Respond to technical calls to address client inquiries and troubleshooting issues effectively. Deliver training sessions to farm staff on equipment and best practices. Support farm shows and exhibitions, showcasing our services and products. Maintain accurate records of all visits, calls, and training sessions. Collaborate with the team to develop solutions that enhance farm productivity. Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in agricultural technology or related fields. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients. A reliable van or truck for travelling to various farm locations is a requirement. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Valid driver\’s license and ability to keep vehicle in good condition.
