Location of the Job: Harlow, Essex (Own transport required due to location). Salary & Benefits Package: £24,336pa (£12/hr) Payable weekly Free parking on-site. Quality Controller – The Job Role Details: We are looking for a motivated Quality Control Professional to join a dynamic team in the fresh produce industry, specifically salad items. The role is based in a modern facility and the successful candidate will work closely with the Quality Control Supervisor, ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality. Quality Controller – Key Responsibilities: Assist with audits in all production and packhouse areas. Perform final product checks before dispatch to customers. Collect samples for shelf-life testing and ensure compliance with hygiene standards, including pest management. Monitor and ensure production clean-downs meet allergen and hygiene standards. Maintain accurate records and complete compliance paperwork. Quality Controller – The Ideal Candidate: You will have: Experience: Minimum 2 years in food manufacturing (fresh produce preferred). Knowledge: HACCP and internal auditing processes. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with strong attention to detail. Attributes: Respectful, approachable, and a team player with excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). Essential Requirements: A valid UK driver’s license (essential due to location).
