About the Role

Are you an ambitious Rural Surveyor looking to take the next step in your career with a highly respected and growing consultancy? My client is seeking a talented MRICS-qualified Rural Surveyor to join a thriving team in the beautiful surroundings of Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of farms, estates, rural businesses, residential properties and mixed-use assets, providing expert advice to an established client base while helping to drive future growth. This is far more than a traditional surveying role. You'll be at the heart of a dynamic consultancy, delivering strategic advice, leading high-quality valuation work, managing complex rural property matters and building long-term relationships with landowners, farmers and estate clients across the region.

Location - Oxfordshire and surrounding areas

Salary Package - £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary depending on skills and experience

What you will be doing

  • Delivering Red Book valuations across a broad range of rural and residential assets
  • Providing trusted landlord and tenant advice to agricultural clients
  • Managing farm and estate operations, including CFAs, FBTs and licence agreements
  • Advising clients on Rural Payments Agency schemes, including SFI and CSS opportunities
  • Preparing and submitting planning applications
  • Leading agency instructions from appraisal through to successful completion
  • Producing professional consultancy reports and strategic recommendations
  • Developing new business opportunities and strengthening existing client relationships

What my client is looking for

  • MRICS qualified (ideally an RICS Registered Valuer)
  • 1-5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Strong experience in rural agency, valuation and consultancy
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and reporting skills
  • A genuine passion for farming, land management and the rural sector
  • Motivated, proactive and capable of building lasting client relationships
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
