OverviewMarketing Manager β Events at Agriconnect. Reporting to the Head of Marketing β Event. Location: Preston, Lancashire / London (Hybrid).
Agriconnect is the largest multi-platform agricultural information business in the UK. We are seeking an Events Marketing Manager to develop, manage, and implement successful marketing plans across our expanding portfolio of events. You will work with a wider marketing team to deliver strategic, creative, and operational support and to plan, oversee delivery, measure, and improve multi-channel marketing campaigns that acquire, retain, and engage visitors and grow our events.

Key Responsibilities
Planning and KPI development
Understand event visitor targets and KPIs and set a clear strategy to achieve them
Create multi-channel marketing plans to acquire visitors to our portfolio of exhibitions
Budget management for all visitor event marketing activities, ensuring ROI
Adhere to brand guidelines at all times
Collaborate with the Customer Insight Manager and Head of Events to evaluate research, market conditions, competitor data, and feedback to develop customer-focused marketing strategies
Channel Management and Campaign tracking
Take ownership of events social media channels and content scheduling
Collaborate with digital teams to track campaigns and improve performance
Coordinate with marketing colleagues to build connected campaigns across emails, social media, blogs, newsletters, paid media, partnerships, and SEO
Work with Content team to create content driving engagement, registrations, and attendance
Attend our events and other events as required
Manage partnerships to drive visitors and monitor effectiveness
Lead PR strategy and integrate with wider visitor campaigns
Data, insight, and reporting
Manage and review event visitor data with the data team
Coordinate with Marketing Managers, digital and data teams to avoid over-marketing
Provide regular marketing updates on campaign performance and align stakeholders with the business roadmap
Produce monthly/weekly reports during event run-ups
Work with Head of Events on visitor research and insights programs
Team and stakeholder management
Support event planning journeys with the strategy team
Maintain strong relationships with support departments to produce clear briefs and reviews
Review campaign progress and provide evidence-based recommendations

Degree educated (or equivalent), preferably in business/marketing
2 years of prior marketing events experience
Organised, self-motivated with energy to hit and exceed targets
Team player with excellent attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritise
