Role Overview

The Salesforce Sales Performance Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and optimising the performance of Salesforce CRM and related processes. This role combines technical Salesforce expertise with strong analytical skills to ensure data integrity, improve system efficiency, and provide actionable insights that drive sales and operational performance. This role is central to improving sales productivity, forecasting accuracy, and overall revenue performance. The role reports to Director of Events and works closely with the Farmers Guardian Director, as well as colleagues in sales, marketing, operations, and IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales reporting and analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards to support forecasting, pipeline management, and performance monitoring. Deliver clear, actionable insights to sales leaders and senior stakeholders.
  • Drive sales process improvement: Design, document, and implement scalable and efficient sales processes. Identify inefficiencies and introduce tools and automation to improve sales cycle speed and conversion rates.
  • Ensure data quality and governance: Partner with Marketing, Finance, and other departments to maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date customer and sales data.
  • Enable cross-functional collaboration: Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment on key initiatives, reporting, and customer intelligence.
  • Oversee order management processes: Work closely with Sales team to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently through Salesforce.
  • Provide strategic support: Support Agriconnect leadership with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and presentations to aid strategic decision-making.
  • Own and optimise Salesforce: Act as the business lead for Salesforce, ensuring data accuracy, streamlining workflows, managing integrations, and driving continuous improvements to enhance sales efficiency.

Skills & Experience

  • Familiarity with Einstein Analytics or AI-driven Salesforce features.
  • Proven experience in a sales operations, revenue or commercial operations role, within an Event/Exhibition business.
  • Salesforce certification is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel, business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau), and sales analytics platforms.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience in leading process improvement initiatives and enhancing operational effectiveness.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
