We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Admin (Nights) to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF. This role is to provide administrative support to both Transport and Despatch which includes printing orders, maintaining Floris duties, liaising with drivers and driver agencies, maintaining the Transport plan and ensuring the customer bookings on their haulier websites are complete and correct.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights
Main Responsibilities
- Prioritise and print orders, pallet headers and labels to hand to Warehouse Operatives in Despatch.
- Create and consolidate the pallet quantities on Floris and communicate pallet quantities for all customers to Transport Planners.
- Assign each customer their corresponding haulier and arrange customers into their Transport Order number on Floris.
- Ensure all daily emails are sent and that the haulier bookings on the customer portals are complete and correct.
- Validate orders on Floris and send ASNs.
- Liaise with drivers to ensure deliveries arrive on time in full.
- React appropriately to any driver-related issues reported by the drivers, e.g. late/failed deliveries, breakdowns, supplying reference numbers.
Skills and Experience Required
- Competent in Excel, Word, TMS/EPR systems
- Knowledge of Transport/Despatch operation
- Good attention to detail and data/info accuracy
