We have an exciting opportunity for a QA Assistant to join our Technical team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF. This role is to ensure quality and food safety compliance are adhered to throughout the factory.
Working hours: 4 days on 4 days off with shifts anticipated to be 12 hours
Pay: £29092.44
Main Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular checks on all lines to assure product quality, legality, and compliance to standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular checks to assure process control documentation is completed accurately.
- Pro-actively monitor safety, legality and quality issues relating to raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods.
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality and food safety culture.
- Conduct and/or ensure all routine checks including equipment calibrations, micro sampling, traceability tests etc. are carried out correctly and on time.
- Manage internal taste panel and shelf-life sample assessments.
- Assist in the management and completion of internal audits including CCP, GMP, fabrication, hygiene, plastic, and system audits.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Relevant certification - HACCP Level 3
- Basic Food Hygiene
- Attention to detail and able to prioritise workload.
- Organised and good time management
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft packages
