We have an exciting opportunity for a Raw Materials FLT Operative to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF. The Raw Material FLT Operator is responsible for the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of raw materials from receipt through to production. The primary focus is to ensure manufacturing lines are continuously supplied with stock while maintaining strict adherence to health, safety, and inventory control standards. Must hold valid FLT licence.
Working hours: set 4 days per week, anticipated shifts 10 hours, 6am - 4pm
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare and operate Fork Lift Truck (FLT), carrying out safety checks in line with procedure.
- Load/unload relevant materials between delivery and raw materials area in accordance with the plan, replenish when required to ensure area operates at maximum efficiency.
- Escalate supply issues in a timely manner.
- Receive delivery of raw material produce and transport to storage area.
- Assist production by removing/replacing waste dolavs.
- Safely transport pallets and trays into the packing area when required.
- Maintain hygiene standards by ensuring the area meets required GMP standards, ensuring a clean and safe (clean as you go) area of work at all times.
- Monitor equipment within the area to minimise damage/downtime, report any issues to management for onward escalation.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Ability to operate a Fork Lift Truck and hold valid FLT licence.
- Ability to understand and undertake Food Safety Qualification.
- Ability to understand and adhere to health and safety requirements.
- Have a flexible approach to work and hours.
