We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Management Accountant to join our finance team in Lichfield. Working across both of our manufacturing sites and Agrial Fresh Farms, you will work with our Operational Management and Team Leaders to provide valuable insight into our Operational performance to improve performance and unlock efficiencies. You will be a key part of our monthly Management Accounting, playing a significant part in our month end reporting and analysis and stock accounting.
Working hours: 37.5 per week
Main Responsibilities:
- Analyse weekly variances to budget & forecast for operations and farm operations
- Month end completion, inventory reporting, margin analysis, weekly-to-monthly beetroot reconciliation, farm operations end-to-end
- Monthly rolling forecast of procurement and farm operations, including profit improvement plans
- Systems key user (ERP and BI)
- Assist Finance Control with audit and statutory obligations
- Enhanced variance analysis on operations and AFF, working with Farm Analyst on yield, headweight and labour variances
- Involvement in Procurement and AFF budgets
- Reporting of site overheads and over/underspend to budget and plan
- Support Site Controllers with operational analysis and costing requests
- Carry out any other reasonable requests as required by management
Skills and Experience Required:
- CIMA qualified or final level.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel. Use of Power BI is desirable.
- Experience within Management Accounting.
- Experience in FMCG is preferable.
- Ability to work under pressure and lead by example.
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions quickly.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Communication and good interpersonal skills.
