We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Nights Team Leader to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF. This role is responsible for co-ordinating the efficient operation of the despatch team to ensure accurately picked pallets of finished products are prepared and loaded onto vehicles on schedule, whilst maintaining an organised and safe working environment.
Working hours: 4 on 4 off shift pattern - working nights
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee set up and checks of MHE equipment within the area, ensuring safety and pre-start up checks are completed in accordance with procedure.
- Organise and co-ordinate task allocation for team members to ensure accurate picking and loading, adherence to stock rotation, and compliance with the daily plan. Manage breaks efficiently.
- Liaise with operations and transport teams to confirm timeframes for finished product supply, ensuring high levels of productivity, service and quality, while promptly escalating any potential delays or shortages.
- Ensure all despatch paperwork is completed accurately, in accordance with procedures and within specified timeframes, countersigning to verify correctness.
- Conduct spot checks on completed picked pallets to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Be accountable for capturing hours and productivity data for the area and shift to a high standard and within specified time frames. Proactively drive the achievement of KPIs and implement mitigation actions when targets are not met.
- Oversee and monitor GMP standards in accordance with walk-away procedures, ensuring high standards of housekeeping are maintained through the promotion of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience of working in the manufacturing industry with at least 1 years experience of supervising a team.
- Have an excellent standard of English literacy and numeracy with the ability to provide accurate data.
- Ability to understand and undertake Food Safety and Health and Safety Qualification.
