We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse and Shunting Operative (Nights) to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.
Responsibilities
- Safe, precise movement of trailers onsite, including coupling/uncoupling and manoeuvring onto loading bays.
- Coordinating yard operations and ensuring equipment is prepared for operational use.
- Assisting a warehouse-based team to unload, pick and load as required.
- Performing pre‑start checks on the "Terberg" shunt vehicle in accordance with training provided.
- Carrying out operational tasks according to standard operating procedures.
- Providing regular updates of trailers on the yard to the Team Leader.
- Checking fridge trailer temperatures and conducting visual tyre checks on yard and bay trailers before loading.
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and adopting a CAYG policy, including the yard.
- Ensuring all reasonable measures are taken to maintain asset care of all equipment, including scanners, MHE and other necessary equipment.
Qualifications
- Warehouse experience, preferably in FMCG.
- Basic written and verbal English proficiency.
- Ability to complete a rigorous driving assessment.
- Permanent right to work in the UK – no visa sponsorship will be provided.
Working Hours
4 on 4 off, night shifts 6 pm–6 am.
Pay
£17.55 per hour, inclusive of an annual bonus scheme.
