We have an exciting opportunity for a Stock Controller (Nights) to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF. This role is responsible for carrying out physical stock checks, investigations, accompanying stock audits, and regular rolling stock takes. Controlling and recording inbound stock, including third-party. Be proactive in reducing mis-picks, shorts and dumping. Create and maintain trackers for the site to support stock control and minimise waste. Assist with identification and resolution of problem areas.
Responsibilities
- Ensure stock levels are consistent through daily checks and reporting to key stakeholders.
- Support Scheduling and other stakeholders by providing counts of specific products when asked.
- Perform daily checks of stock, use-by dates and locations to prevent dumping.
- Assist in maintaining and improving the flow of the warehouse.
- Collaborate with Team Leaders to investigate mis-picks, shorts and minimise stock discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in stock management or a related field.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and stock control issues.
- Organisation and time-management skills.
- IT literacy, including intermediate Excel skills.
- Ability to work well with auditors, customers and other team members.
