We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse and Shunting Operative (Nights) to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF.

Responsibilities:

  • Safe, precise movement of trailers onsite, including coupling/uncoupling and manoeuvring onto loading bays.
  • Coordinating yard operations and ensuring equipment is prepared for operational use.
  • Assisting a warehouse-based team to unload, pick and load as required.
  • Performing pre‑start checks on the "Terberg" shunt vehicle in accordance with training provided.
  • Carrying out operational tasks according to standard operating procedures.
  • Providing regular updates of trailers on the yard to the Team Leader.
  • Checking fridge trailer temperatures and conducting visual tyre checks on yard and bay trailers before loading.
  • Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping and adopting a CAYG policy, including the yard.
  • Ensuring all reasonable measures are taken to maintain asset care of all equipment, including scanners, MHE and other necessary equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Warehouse experience, preferably in FMCG.
  • Basic written and verbal English proficiency.
  • Ability to complete a rigorous driving assessment.
  • Permanent right to work in the UK – no visa sponsorship will be provided.

Working Hours:

4 on 4 off, night shifts 6 pm–6 am.

Pay: £17.55 per hour, inclusive of an annual bonus scheme.
