The Role & Key Responsibilities

Location: Devon / Torrington Holsworthy area

Contract and shift pattern: 12 months FTC, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Package includes: £25,371.91 salary per annum (plus Van + Fuel Card / Allowance)

Our Area Coordinators are responsible for the delivery of a full milk recording service. This involves regular visits to farms within the above area, collecting event data about individual cows and updating the NMR database. It can also involve taking milk samples from each cow as they are milked as and when required. The role will involve the robot shuttle hire service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for data collection and entry into a custom-built software package.
  • Coordinate the collection of milk samples from individual cows on farms.
  • Organise and train self-employed samplers to take milk samples.
  • Transport sample boxes/shuttles.
  • Complete NMR robot shuttle recording.
  • Ensure an excellent standard of data quality.
