The Area Coordinator will be responsible for delivering a full milk recording service, including data collection and recording, milk sampling, and managing the robot shuttle service.
Key Responsibilities
- Home based coverage of a wide area of farms, requiring extensive driving.
- Data collection and entry into a custom-built software package.
- Coordinate the collection of milk samples from individual cows on farms.
- Organise and train self-employed samplers to take milk samples.
- Transport sample boxes/shuttles.
- Complete NMR robot shuttle recording.
- Ensure an excellent data quality standard.
Qualifications
- Strong time‑management skills.
- Self‑motivated and proactive.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and add value.
- Great attention to detail ensuring accuracy in work produced.
- Fully PC literate.
- Milk recording and/or practical dairy farming experience – desirable.
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Able to work early mornings when required.
