We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Area Manager to oversee sales growth, customer relationships, and service delivery within a designated territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong relationships with both new and existing farming clients, promoting Agriking’s product range, and providing technical support to ensure the best outcomes for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales within your assigned area, achieving agreed targets.
  • Promote Agriking’s full range of nutritional products and forage treatments to dairy, beef, and sheep farmers.
  • Conduct regular farm visits to assess customer needs and provide tailored recommendations.
  • Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to farmer groups and industry events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key industry partners.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in agricultural sales, farm consultancy, or livestock nutrition.
  • Strong knowledge of UK livestock farming practices.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for helping farmers succeed.
  • Competent in basic IT systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Qualifications but not Essential

  • Degree or diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, or related field.
  • Previous experience working with silage additives, feed supplements, or farm nutrition products.
