An opportunity to join the Real Estate team of an exciting and rapidly expanding Gibraltar-based Family Office. The role is to work with existing team members, as a Real Estate Analyst, to help facilitate the current portfolio's growth and ongoing management in the UK and overseas. The role will be extremely varied and provide candidates with the opportunity for growth and significant development.
Responsibilities:
- Undertake sector and geographical market research on potential and existing investment markets.
- Research, underwrite and due diligence investment opportunities to produce informed analysis on new and potential investment opportunities.
- Produce financial models and cashflows in Excel and other industry-standard software packages, such as CREIT, and perform financial projections and risk analysis in evaluating potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in drafting investment documents and presentations, including Investment Committee memos/package for potential acquisitions.
- Manage investment introductions including updating and monitoring the deal schedule/pipeline document.
- Take ownership of internal portfolio analysis, including the portfolio Dashboard, and produce other useful metrics/analytical insights.
- Assist with due diligence on new acquisitions and asset management initiatives.
- Assist with other portfolio-related matters periodically.
- Liaise with other departments within the family office, to ensure smooth running of portfolio matters.
Experience / Skillset:
- 2-5 years of Real Estate investment experience.
- Preferably RICS Qualified, but not essential.
- A solid understanding of Real Estate investment fundamentals and sub-sectors.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
- Advanced understanding of underwriting and investment concepts and the ability to apply concepts.
- Prior experience identifying real estate investment opportunities.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Be a good team player!
Remuneration will be commensurate with the duties and demands of the role and the experience of the candidate.
