An exclusive opportunity has arisen within a London based Family Office that is looking for an Interim Head of Finance to join their team on a 12 to 15-month Fixed Term Contract.
The Family Office is the private investment vehicle of a well-known entrepreneur and philanthropist.
They invest in listed and unlisted companies across a broad range of sectors, taking strategic stakes where they believe the team can make a positive difference to the long-term performance of the business.
They are seeking an experienced, hands-on, Interim Head of Finance to provide senior financial leadership across the group's accounting, tax, treasury, and governance functions.
This role will be report to the CEO, whilst also working closely with the Principal, General Counsel and the Investment team, and also be responsible for managing and developing the members of the Finance team.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties include but are not limited to: Full ownership of financial accounting and reporting across a multi-entity, close company structure.
UK tax compliance including corporation tax, employer tax obligations and VAT Treasury and cash management across group entities, including a loan refinancing of a private asset.
Oversight of financial systems, office management, and broader governance Manage and develop the finance team, including upskilling.
Some ad-hoc financial input on specific investments.
Support for the principal's personal tax and cash matters alongside external advisors Profile of the successful candidate: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Senior finance leadership experience, ideally within a family office, private investment structure, or similar multi-entity/close company environment Comfortable operating hands‑on in a lean team - equally at ease reviewing statutory accounts as negotiating a banking facility, filing regulatory disclosures or presenting to the Board If you would like to find out more about the role, please send a (preferably Word) copy of your latest resume #J-18808-Ljbffr
