Chief Financial Officer – Single Family Office, Remote/UK

b Overview /b p In this newly created CFO role within a single-family office, you will design and lead the finance function, ensuring smooth flows between the holding company, family investment entities, and operating businesses. You will implement robust controls, consolidate reporting, and coordinate with external advisers following a liquidity event. You will manage intercompany structuring, tax and regulatory considerations, and governance around capital movements. This role blends hands-on execution with strategic oversight, offering significant impact across multi-entity structures and wealth management. You will work closely with principals and external advisers to shape a resilient finance platform. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Design and lead a family-office finance function from the ground up /li li Oversee cash and asset flows between holding, investment vehicles and operating businesses /li li Establish and maintain financial controls, processes and reporting across all entities /li li Ensure accurate and timely consolidated reporting for the principals /li li Structure, document and manage intercompany loans, including interest calculations and reconciliations /li li Maintain books and records across multiple entities, including investment vehicles and trading companies /li li Oversee transfers of funds to and from operating businesses /li li Manage personal payrolls and related payments for family members and connected individuals /li li Oversee personal cashflow management and coordinate with external wealth managers /li li Act as a second eye on tax and regulatory risk across jurisdictions /li li Work with external tax advisers on residency, VAT, withholding tax, CIS /li li Ensure robust structures for future exit or transaction events /li li Develop governance frameworks around capital movements, investments and distributions /li li Produce regular reporting on net worth, liquidity, commitments, performance, risks /li li Coordinate and challenge advisers to ensure practical, aligned advice /li li Build trusting relationships with principals while maintaining independence /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Senior finance leader with experience in private family office or multi-entity structures /li li Experience managing multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction environments with intercompany activity /li li Strong technical grounding in consolidated reporting and entity structuring /li li Tax-aware cashflow management and financing between entities /li li Experience working with external tax, legal and accounting providers /li li Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) preferred /li li Additional tax or structuring qualifications advantageous but not essential /li /ul ul li High integrity, discretion and personal trustworthiness /li li Hands-on and pragmatic, lean starting point /li li Strong judgement and risk awareness in tax/regulatory matters /li li Consolidated reporting /li li Entity structuring /li li Tax-aware cashflow management between entities /li /ul
