Who We Are — Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We design, develop, and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are building the UK’s largest battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset. Our first customers are Jaguar Land Rover and Tata Motors.
The Role
Talent Acquisition Specialist — Somerset.
What You’ll Do
- Work with multiple business areas to attract, assess and hire key staff as we scale up the manufacturing facility in Somerset.
- Deliver high quality hiring experiences for candidates and hiring communities.
- Become a trusted partner to all stakeholders, providing expertise, guidance and support.
- Be a key enabler for the business to meet high-growth targets.
Our Somerset site is due for completion in 2027, so this role will focus on the early industrialisation roles as we ramp up for the start of production. The role will be hybrid with occasional travel to our HQ in Coventry. We are expecting to have an office in Somerset late this year, but predominantly working from home until then.
About You
The team you’ll join — The Talent Acquisition team is passionate about delivering high quality experiences to every stakeholder. Every member of the team has a huge impact on the future direction of Agratas and is involved in the full spectrum of TA, from delivering operational hiring targets to project support and process improvements.
What You’ll Bring
- Strong recruitment experience and a clear understanding of TA best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn a new industry; an appreciation of Engineering & Advanced Manufacturing is useful.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, timelines and priorities while retaining focus on the big picture.
