We design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Somerset and looking to complement, scale and grow our R&D facilities in Abingdon and Coventry with the brightest minds from within the battery and EV sector. Our battery technology roadmap is based on a foundation of world-class solutions for multiple applications. Collaborating with our technical partners, we are industrialising best-in-class high energy density and long-lasting battery cells. We are also committed to developing the next generation of battery technologies.
This is a crucial role in ensuring the verification and validation (V&V) of EV battery packs, Battery Energy Management Systems (BEMs), and Battery Management Systems (BMS). This requires a deep understanding of test methodologies, validation processes, and compliance requirements for automotive and electrification industries. The role requires a high level of analytical and critical thinking, with responsibilities ranging from defining test strategies to interpreting complex test data for failure analysis and risk mitigation. You may be required to lead test activities within the scope of a defined project, including coordination of resources, planning of timelines, and delivery of test milestones. You will have a direct impact on the company’s ability to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance battery systems to customers.
This is a hybrid working role that will be based in our Coventry office. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable energy solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
