The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
Your role as Quality Manager, Calibration & Measuring Systems is to be responsible for maintenance, calibration, repair, and continuous development of all processes and utility equipment from a chemical, mechanical, and electrical instrumentation perspective. Additionally, you will be able to interact with other Agratas manufacturing facilities around the world, sharing knowledge and establishing good practices with them.
Reporting into Head of Plant Quality, you will:
- Assist with installation, operational, and process qualification for new and existing equipment;
- Evaluate calibration data, looking for adverse trends and identifying failures;
- Implement ISO management system to the quality labs (including UKAS/ISO IEC 17025);
- Support LIMS implementation in all quality areas;
- Knowledge and practical experience of quality tools, but not limited to 8D, FMEA, 5W, PPAP, and APQP;
- Actively participate in Process FMEA analysis and implement robust detection and prevention controls;
The Quality team is a dynamic group working across three areas - company quality, product quality and plant quality. Being a relatively new team, you’ll play a critical part in creating and implementing new processes and help building large scale manufacturing lines from the ground up.
Proven industry experience in the calibration of chemical and mechanical equipment; knowledgeable of quality management systems.
You’ll work in a rapidly scaling-up environment as a subsidiary of the multinational corporation, Tata Sons, to help build the UK’s biggest battery manufacturing facility and make your mark in a new organisation.
