We design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up with a start-up mentality, backed by Tata Sons. Our UK headquarters are in the Midlands, with a battery manufacturing facility in Somerset and R&D facilities in Abingdon and Coventry.

Purpose of the role: We are recruiting an experienced Programme Manager. This is a pivotal role where you will be a key contact for our customers to deliver the technical, operational, and commercial objectives for Agratas and our customers. You will foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive two-way communication of expectations, requirements and delivery of results against project targets. You will develop and manage project teams. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you will drive end-to-end delivery of Battery Pack programmes to support business growth.

This is a hybrid role based in our Coventry office and offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of sustainable energy solutions in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the successful delivery of the engineering project portfolio to achieve core company and functional objectives.
  • Support business development requests for contribution of Pack Team to customer enquiries.
  • Lead projects within your portfolio from end to end to ensure execution on time, to quality, performance and cost objectives.
  • Lead, maintain and manage project delivery progress across all stakeholder groups.
  • Lead, manage, control and maintain the project scope, using escalation where appropriate.
  • Deliver programmes within the Agratas NPI, Gateway and PM framework, applying systems engineering (ISO15288) approaches and adherence to delivery standards (ISO9001, ITAF16949).
  • Accountable for adherence to APQP, Functional Safety (ISO26262), Cyber Security (ISO21434), and ASPICE software development.
  • Ensure effective communication and reporting of project status across all stakeholder groups.
  • Lead and contribute to the development of the PM team capability including people, processes, and tools.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor\’s degree in a science or engineering discipline; experience delivering in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment (HV electrical and software delivery desirable).
  • A professional project management certification is desirable.
  • Project management experience in automotive electrical engineering/control or new product development.
  • Demonstrated leadership in a complex cross-functional programme in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, ideally geographically distributed.
  • Experience delivering projects to time, quality, performance and cost objectives with broad stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience delivering projects within NPI frameworks using a gateway methodology and Systems Engineering (ISO15288).
  • Experience applying delivery standards across the organisation (ISO9001, ITAF16949).
  • Experience of product development processes including APQP, Functional Safety (ISO26262), Cyber Security (ISO21434), and ASPICE software developments.
  • Experience as a Project Management practitioner across the project lifecycle with mixed methodologies (linear-sequential, iterative-incremental, and hybrid).
