Are you a people-first HR leader ready to play a key role in shaping the workforce of one of the UK’s most exciting greenfield manufacturing sites? At Agratas, we’re building a world-leading battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater—and we’re looking for a strategic and proactive HR Business Partner to support us on this journey. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with senior leaders and managers across our UK manufacturing function to align people strategies with business outcomes.
  • Guide and support talent acquisition, development, retention, and performance across the employee lifecycle.
  • Lead employee engagement, culture development, and embed Agratas values on the ground.
  • Play a key role in preparing the plant to transition from construction to full operations.
  • Provide expert advice on employee relations, compliance, and people risk management.
  • Engage with external stakeholders including local councils and education providers to support workforce development in the region.
  • Drive organisational design, change management, and succession planning to ensure long-term capability.
  • Act as a local custodian of HR systems, data, and metrics, ensuring accuracy, GDPR compliance, and actionable insight.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in complex, fast-changing environments—preferably manufacturing, engineering or industrial sectors.
  • Strong capability in talent strategy, employee relations, leadership development, and workforce planning.
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law, compliance, and ethical HR practice.
  • A genuine commitment to inclusion, diversity, and creating a positive workplace culture.
  • Degree in HR or Organisation Development (CIPD membership is a plus).
