The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Manufacturing Finance Business Partner to support our journey to SOP (Start of Production) and beyond. Reporting to the UK Projects & Supply Chain Finance Controller, you’ll be the trusted partner to our VP of UK Manufacturing and Programme Manager, playing a critical role in financial planning, cost control, and performance analysis.
This role isn’t about sitting behind spreadsheets. It’s about getting close to operations, building relationships, and delivering insights that drive real decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with Manufacturing leadership to forecast costs, control spend, and guide financial decision-making.
- Lead financial workstreams for SAP S/4HANA implementation and EVM project methodology rollout.
- Deliver robust cost centre and overhead absorption models.
- Own inventory planning, valuation, and cost actualisation at month/quarter close.
- Perform cost optimisation, make-vs-buy analysis, and cross-site benchmarking (UK & India).
- Forecast headcount in partnership with HR and support workforce ramp-up planning.
- Drive budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and long-term financial planning aligned to strategic goals.
- Champion continuous improvement, enhancing reporting and operational efficiency.
What You’ll Bring
- Qualified Finance Professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in finance business partnering within a manufacturing or scaling environment.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, evolving landscape.
- A hands-on, can-do attitude and an eagerness to contribute to building something new.
