Your role as Quality Manager, Customer Quality will be to oversee all customer quality activities including ensuring the final product meets all customer requirements prior to being shipped. You will also be responsible for ensuring customer requirements are completely understood, assessed, and amended into the customer product in every batch. Furthermore, you will be expected to interrelate between different teams supporting problem resolution in face of customer concerns.
As part of your duties, you will be required to regularly participate in groups to improve the product and the manufacturing process from the time a new product is introduced to the end of the product’s life cycle. Additionally, you will interact with other Agratas manufacturing facilities around the world, sharing knowledge and establishing good practices.
Reporting into the Head of Plant Quality, you will:
- Implement customer requirements in manufacturing to ensure product compliance.
- Manage customer complaints as the single point of contact.
- Lead 8D problem-solving methodologies (8D and RCA).
- Lead the team running analytical tests on a variety of chemical and mechanical instruments.
- Manage all activities within outgoing quality prior to customer product shipment.
- Implement thorough control plans and test procedures for products and materials.
- Ensure that non-conformities concerning final product deviations are reported and addressed immediately, following up on corrective and improvement actions.
- Have strong knowledge and practical experience of quality tools, including but not limited to 8D, FMEA, 5W, PPAP, and APQP.
What you’ll bring:
- Qualification in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strongly preferred prior experience in a manufacturing shop floor.
- Strong experience managing customer quality.
- Experience leading and coordinating teams.
- Experience troubleshooting analytical instruments/equipment.
- Knowledgeable of SPC and Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Knowledgeable of quality management systems, e.g. ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949.
