Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We design, develop, and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors.

We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality, backed by a well-established parent company. Our UK headquarters is in the Midlands, and we are building a battery manufacturing facility in Somerset. We are also expanding our R&D facilities in Abingdon and Coventry, seeking talented individuals from the battery and EV sectors.

Our technology roadmap focuses on world-class solutions for multiple applications, industrialising high energy density, long-lasting battery cells, and developing next-generation battery technologies.

Purpose of the Role

Our Corporate Communications team promotes and protects our brand and reputation, sharing success stories, supporting internal engagement, managing external visibility, and handling issues impacting our image.

We are seeking a motivated and creative Corporate Communications Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This hybrid role is based at our Coventry office on the University of Warwick campus, with regular travel to our UK locations in Oxford and Somerset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating and implementing communication plans aligned with company objectives and values.
  • Draft and edit communication materials such as press releases, announcements, newsletters, internal emails, and intranet updates.
  • Collaborate with the design team on visual communication materials like infographics and presentations.
  • Support video content production, including scripting, filming, and editing.
  • Manage social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement monitoring.
  • Coordinate with teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
  • Organise and coordinate corporate events and internal gatherings.
  • Assist in crisis communication planning and respond to media inquiries.
  • Manage internal and external mailboxes, logging key inquiries.
  • Maintain media contact lists, track communication metrics, and manage assets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Good organisational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Interest in communications, media, or branding.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, social media platforms, and SharePoint (not essential).
