This role sits within the Capital Projects team and plays a critical part in delivering the buildings and infrastructure that will enable the Agratas Gigafactory. Working in a complex, fast‑paced environment, you will lead the development, design and delivery of major utilities and infrastructure projects, including third‑party works, construction logistics and the delivery of a new ring road. This is a high‑profile opportunity to shape large‑scale infrastructure on a nationally significant programme.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards
  • Managing financial aspects including contracts, change orders, and dispute resolution
  • Identifying and mitigating risks proactively
  • Overseeing stakeholder engagement and utilities package deliverables
  • Challenging technical assumptions to achieve optimal solutions
  • Monitoring project performance and providing accurate reporting
  • Driving continuous improvement through lessons learned

What you’ll bring:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in managing large utilities capital projects/programmes
  • Strong knowledge of utility industry regulations and standards
  • Expertise in multi‑utility project management
  • Contractor Health & Safety management skills
  • Mechanical or Electrical background highly desirable
  • Commercial awareness and experience with UK Engineering Contracts (JCT and/or NEC)

Desired:

  • Experience with sustainability and environmental impact assessments
  • Familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera)
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems integration
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (desirable)
  • Professional project/programme management qualification (e.g., APMP, MSP) or related discipline (e.g., RICS)
  • Chartered Engineer status in Civil, Structural, Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering (ideal but not essential)
