In this role, you will lead the project ownership, deployment, and continual optimisation of our digital competency management system, ensuring it is successfully embedded across manufacturing operations. You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of competency frameworks, ensuring that all training and assessment activities meet the required regulatory and organisational standards.
You will work closely with operational, quality, technical, and IT teams to make sure training outputs remain accurate, compliant, and aligned with the needs of the business. A key part of your role will be maintaining the integrity and audit readiness of training records while supporting internal, external, and regulatory audits through strong documentation and follow‑through.
You will continuously review, refine, and update training materials, OJT programmes, and technical curricula to keep them relevant and compliant. Alongside this, you will help drive continuous improvement across learning systems and processes, contributing to the professional development of training colleagues and the enhancement of training resources across the organisation.
You’ll join our HR function within the Learning & Development team, reporting to the Head of L&D. The team is collaborative, improvement‑focused, and passionate about raising the bar for training and compliance across the organisation. You’ll work closely with colleagues in operations, quality, IT, and technical teams—bringing people together to build a highly competent and audit‑ready workforce.
Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We will design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.
