In this role, you’ll provide essential administrative and operational support for HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding. You’ll deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new joiners, maintain accurate HR data and systems, and prepare employment-related documentation. You’ll coordinate processes such as absence management, learning and development, and talent management, while supporting visa processes and liaising with Health & Safety for workstation assessments and return-to-work conversations. You’ll also represent HR in forums, contribute to employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and assist with ad hoc HR tasks to ensure a positive and consistent employee experience.
Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We will design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.
You’ll be part of our Human Resources function, working closely with HR Business Partners and other HR Coordinators. This is a supportive and collaborative team that values accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency. Together, we ensure HR operations run smoothly and consistently across the business.
Experience in a HR-related environment and familiarity with HR/Payroll systems.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and ideally a basic knowledge of employment law.
