The Project Lead for New Product Programmes plays a central role in ensuring programmes across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations are governed effectively and delivered on schedule. The role will drive programme execution by establishing and improving governance structures, reporting frameworks, and risk management processes across key business initiatives. You will lead coordination of programme timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and product roadmaps. Working closely with technical and operational teams, you will drive visibility, accountability, and consistency across multiple workstreams in a fast‑moving environment. This position will also act as a key interface between teams and leadership, supporting decision‑making through clear reporting, proactive risk management, and structured communication.

As part of a dynamic PMO team, your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead programme plans, schedules, and milestone tracking across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain
  • Establish and improve governance frameworks, PMO processes, and reporting standards
  • Coordinate cross‑functional activities across engineering, operations, procurement, and commercial teams
  • Facilitate programme forums including steering committees and programme reviews
  • Maintain programme dashboards, reports, and executive updates
  • Monitor KPIs, delivery timelines, and budget alignment
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans
  • Maintain risk registers, issue logs, and governance consistency across programmes
  • Ensure clear ownership and accountability across all workstreams
  • Support leadership decision‑making through structured and timely communication

Essential – What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in programme or project management within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of PMO governance, reporting, and risk management
  • Ability to manage complex programmes with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and planning capabilities
  • Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams
  • Ability to clearly communicate programme status, risks, and actions
  • Comfortable producing reports, dashboards, and executive updates
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Desired:

  • Experience working in a fast‑paced or scale‑up environment
  • Familiarity with new product introduction (NPI) or product development programmes
  • Exposure to manufacturing or supply chain environments
  • Knowledge of programme management tools and best practices
