We are seeking a hands-on, detail oriented Service Centre technician to support battery development activities across cell assembly, electrode manufacturing, and cell testing within our advanced prototyping facility. The role is located in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, and requires full onsite presence. In this role, you will operate specialised equipment, maintain high standards of safety and quality, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations across multiple production and laboratory processes.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Operate a range of equipment used in battery cell assembly, electrode production, and electrochemical testing
  • Support scheduling, coordination, and resource planning across assembly lines, electrode builds, and test programmes
  • Maintain accurate documentation, logs, and traceability records, including data extraction and reporting
  • Perform routine equipment checks, calibration, and maintenance, while managing spares and inventory
  • Contribute to process improvements and uphold safety standards in both dry room and laboratory environments
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and project delivery

Qualifications and Experience

  • Working across cell assembly, electrode production, and electrochemical testing within a manufacturing or production line laboratory environment
  • Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to follow detailed procedures precisely
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
