Junior Engineer in Leicester

ABL is recruiting for a Junior (CMMS) engineer to join its AIM team based in Aberdeen. We offer a supportive environment with a great team culture. This role is initially for a period of 3 months.

This role is for candidates who are looking for the first steps in their career, looking to be part of a dynamic and exciting project team. A background in Oil & Gas would be preferred and any experience working for or closely with operators would be beneficial, however we will also consider candidates who have just finished their degree.

The Role

Reporting into the Lead Project Manager this role will work closely with senior engineers on a variety of different project scopes. It is a great opportunity to be exposed to different types of projects and clients within the maintenance CMMS Engineering field.

Roles and responsibilities

• To assist with the execution of a variety of engineering, inspection and maintenance projects

• Support the creating and updating of preventative maintenance plans

• Monitor compliance and flag overdue tasks
• Must be aware of project deliverables and working alongside the technical team to ensure the quality of what we deliver to clients
• Attend client meetings as required

Work Experience

• Experience working with or for operators in the Oil & Gas industry, preferred but not essential

Technical Skills

• Degree qualification in relevant engineering subject
• Knowledge of CMMS systems and data requirements
