ABL is recruiting for a Senior maintenance project manager to join its Asset Integrity Management (AIM) team based in Aberdeen. We offer a supportive environment with a great team culture.
The Role
Reporting into the lead project manager, this role is seeking a proactive senior project manager who has experience handling medium, large and complex projects. The senior project manager would have a wide latitude of technical authority, responsibilities spanning the life cycle of the project. Primarily based at the ABL office in Aberdeen this role would involve client/site visits and the potential for offshore attendance.

Roles and responsibilities
- Preparation of proposals for bids and tender inputs.
- Developing new business including initiating and winning proposals.
- Plan & execute Engineering & consultancy work scope including deliverables and schedule manpower resources.
- Oversee progress and deliverables for assigned projects.
- Supervise (prepare) engineering documentation and analysis for projects in accordance with international codes and standards.
- Undertake and lead assigned engineers and consultancy personnel to complete projects as per planned schedule, within budget in accordance with quality and QHSE standards.
- Undertake, lead and perform technical asset integrity management work for assigned projects.
- Attend regular internal meetings and external third-party meetings as required.
- Develop and maintain the budget for assigned projects including control of changes.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables are carried out in accordance with ABL policies and procedures.
- Liaise with clients to ensure project completion and customer satisfaction.
- Provide mentoring, coaching and motivation to other team members and provide training to personnel new to asset integrity management.

Work Experience
- Significant experience working in project management from an asset integrity management perspective.
- Previous experience in the design, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting with equipment (relevant discipline) and setting up proactive practices and predictive, preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience leading a team with a pro-active approach.
- In depth knowledge and experience of industry standards and codes with the ability to apply standards to AIM related work.
Technical Skills
- Degree in relevant engineering field.
- Experience with software-based maintenance systems- SAP, MAXIMO etc.
