We’re working with a leading Fin-tech and Health-tech investor entering an exciting new phase of growth. The team backs high-potential, mission-driven businesses across Europe and is now hiring a Portfolio & Value Creation Lead, a newly created role that bridges portfolio management, liquidity planning, and value creation.
This role offers direct exposure to founders and boards, with scope to take formal board seats and help shape the strategic direction of some of the fund’s most dynamic portfolio companies. Over time, it will evolve into a broader investment position as the portfolio expands and deployment accelerates.
The Role
- Portfolio performance: Own the tracking, analysis, and reporting of portfolio company performance, driving insight into financial health, growth trajectory, and exit readiness.
- Liquidity management: Oversee fund cashflows, reserves, and capital planning to ensure effective deployment and recycling.
- Board engagement: Take or support board seats, contributing to strategic discussions around growth, finance, and operational priorities.
- Value creation: Partner with founders and CFOs to improve reporting, fundraising readiness, and operational excellence.
- Governance & reporting: Lead quarterly portfolio reviews and prepare materials for Investment Committee and LP updates.
- Investment support: Contribute to follow-on and new investments through analysis, scenario modelling, and strategic assessment.
- Strategic initiatives: Drive cross-portfolio projects around data, technology, and health innovation.
About You
- Background in venture capital, growth equity, or strategic/portfolio finance, ideally within technology-driven sectors.
- Strong experience managing or supporting boards, founders, or executive teams — either from an investor or operator perspective.
- Deep understanding of portfolio management and liquidity planning within a fund or multi-asset context.
- Commercially sharp, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent communicator with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders and founders alike.
