Agora Talent is partnering with a well-established retail business to support the search for a Senior Finance Analyst. This role sits within a collaborative finance team and offers strong exposure to budgeting, forecasting and business partnering across the organisation.
Reporting into a Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning and performance analysis, working closely with stakeholders outside of finance. Over time, there will be scope to take on additional ownership and responsibility as the function continues to evolve.
Responsibilities- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting processes
- Acting as a finance business partner to a range of internal stakeholders
- Producing regular analysis on business performance and key KPIs
- Preparing clear, insightful reports and presentations for finance and non-finance audiences
- Translating financial and non-financial data into meaningful insights
- Assisting with financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Supporting month-end processes, including variance analysis and accruals
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and decision-making
- 4+ years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance or a similar analytical role
- Experience within a multi-site or consumer-facing environment (retail exposure preferred)
- Actively studying towards CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- Comfortable working independently on budgeting and forecasting activities
- Commercially minded with a curious, analytical approach
- Confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders
- Experience using ERP systems
- Exposure to BI or data visualisation tools
