About the Role
We are working with a well-known multinational retailer who are looking to hire a Head of Strategy to work closely with the Leadership team.
As the Head of Strategy, you will play a vital role in shaping and driving the strategic direction across core areas of the organization with a particular focus on fashion and apparel.
You will work closely with business leaders to solve key challenges, lead high-impact and complex initiatives, and support transformational growth.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role, you will:
- Lead strategic reviews end-to-end, supported by Strategy Managers. This includes identifying and prioritizing opportunities, diagnosing problems, generating actionable solutions, and driving timely implementation.
- Propel the pace of transformation by addressing roadblocks and stepping in where needed to ensure progress.
- Shape the broader strategic vision for the next phase of the organization’s growth and transformation.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, offering thoughtful, constructive challenges and strategic insights.
- Strengthen the effectiveness of the strategy team, contributing to recruitment, team development, and improved processes.
What we are looking for:
- A proven track record (circa 10+ years) of designing and leading strategy projects, preferably gained within a top tier consulting firm with industry experience on top of this.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, supported by a solid foundation in analytics.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
- Relevant expertise or industry experience in areas such as fashion, retail, or digital transformation.
