A newly-created role where you'll own the Group's planning and forecasting, shape the numbers and narrative the Board sees, and play a key role in the group's continued expansion. This is a group-level leadership role with the kind of visibility and autonomy you'd expect at the "Head of" level. You'll work close to the CFO and senior leadership, own the financial narrative that reaches the Board, and have genuine room to shape how planning works as the business scales.

You’ll lead the budgeting and forecasting cycles across the Group, own staff cost and opex planning, and drive the systems and process improvements a fast‑growing finance function needs. It's a newly created role so your handover is from someone who's been owning these processes but you'll have the autonomy to make it your own and drive change/improvements as you see fit. You’ll lead a senior FP&A analyst, with room for the team to grow.

What you'll do:

  • Run the Group's budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning
  • Own the financial narrative and reporting that supports the Board, partnering closely with the CFO on Group performance
  • Own Group‑wide staff cost and opex planning, working with People teams and functional leaders on headcount and cost
  • Continuous improvements: develop the planning systems, processes and controls
  • Manage and develop a Senior FP&A analyst

What you'll need:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong post-qualified experience
  • A proven Group FP&A background within a listed environment
  • A strong track record leading budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning
  • The communication skills to partner and influence senior leaders
  • Experience of preparing Board-facing material and distilling complex financial data into concise and rational narratives
